Learn about Red Deer’s housing and homelessness plan at an open house Thursday.

Citizens are invited to find out more about how Red Deer’s new housing plan is being developed and how the community can get involved.

The goal is to develop a plan that will accommodate the housing needs of all residents.

The open house is from 4 to 7 p.m. at Setters Place at Great Chief Park in Bower Ponds.

Some city councillors and staff will be available to answer questions about the plan, its objectives, and how it’s being developed.

Participants can provide feedback and learn more about upcoming engagement opportunities.

The City of Red Deer’s 2017/2018 Housing Annual Report will also be released Thursday.

Citizens are encouraged to take the plan’s survey, currently available at reddeer.ca/surveys. The survey will be open until July 5, and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
