COVID-19 has infected 32 residents and staff at Points West Living supportive-living facility.
Alberta Health Services said cases included 12 residents, 17 staff, and three AHS home care staff.
The outbreak was declared on Dec. 1 at the site operated by Points West Living where AHS Home Care provides nursing case management.
All staff and residents are being offered COVID-19 swabbing as part of the outbreak response. AHS Public Health is carrying out contact tracing, as per usual process.
Regular staff and resident screening is in place, as are cleaning protocols.
AHS said it continues to closely monitor the situation and is collaborating with Points West Living to ensure the necessary enhanced safety protocols are in place to protect residents and staff.
