Outdoor rinks, pond surfaces in Red Deer to close for the season

City Parks and Public Works staff will remove nets and turn off the lights throughout Monday

This weekend will be the last opportunity for Red Deerians to skate on outdoor rinks and pond surfaces.

With warmer weather in the forecast, the City of Red Deer announced outdoor rinks and skating surfaces will close for the season on Monday, March 13.

City Parks and Public Works staff will remove nets and turn off the lights throughout the day.

The Ice Oval at Setters Place will close for the season on Wednesday, March 15.
