Red Deer residents and their canine friends have a new place to roam in Red Deer. Overlooking the city’s south side, a 30-acre, fenced, off-leash park has been developed by the city on what was once the city landfill. The park known as the Oxbows Off Leash Dog Park will have paved and gravel trails, picnic areas, rain shelters and an agility park, when completed.
