Spring has arrived, and soon, recreational vehicles and trailers will be on the road, in the backcountry and around your neighbourhood.
Before you bring your RV home to get it ready for warm weather adventures, be sure you are aware of the regulations that guide the placement and parking of these vehicles, says the city.
The Land Use Bylaw is one tool that regulates where a recreational vehicle or trailer can be parked, and for how long.
The city’s planning department is proposing to reformat these regulations to make it easier for residents to understand. The change is not to the regulations themselves, but how the information is presented.
Residents are invited to participate in a survey on the proposed reformat.
The survey will be available at www.reddeer.ca/surveys until noon May 31.
