Parkland’s ice sculptures will be carved this weekend

Parkland Garden Centre will have works of art sculpted out of ice this weekend.

Each year, Parkland displays ice sculptures to give people a winter wonderland to explore during the holiday season. Last year’s theme was Canada 150.

The sculptures will be carved Saturday and Sunday, which is a bit later than most years, due to the warm weather.

Gates will be open until 10 p.m. each evening and will be open until midnight on Christmas Eve.
