The City of Red Deer will have crews completing paving along 51st Avenue southbound from 53rd Street to 45th Street over the weekend.
Paving is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The road will remain open during paving, but traffic will be limited to one lane only. The city says to expect delays and consider alternative routes.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs. Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
