Penhold’s Fall Festival will be in full swing Sept. 10-11 at the Penhold Regional Multiplex.

“It has been such a long time coming and I can’t wait for the opportunity to connect with my neighbours again and enjoy Fall Festival with my family,” said Mayor Mike Yargeau.

The festival will begin Friday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. with food trucks, a Red Deer Cruise Night Show and Shine, and Penhold’s Craft Beer Wine and Spirits Festival.

Fall Festival will be held outdoors this year with the Craft Beer, Wine and Spirits Festival being held in a large tent with 20 local breweries and distilleries and great door prizes throughout the night.

The Saturday starts off with the Community TIES Pancake Breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by the parade at 11:00 a.m.

Activities start at 1:00 p.m., including Kids Corner, youth activities, CentreFest performers, dog agility demos, axe throwing/bucksaw challenge, petting zoo and food trucks.

The evening vendors market runs from 5-8 p.m. and there is a family dance starting from 7-9 p.m. with a live music by Funhouse Band. The grand finale of Fall Festival is the fireworks display at 9 p.m.

The Town of Penhold and the Penhold and District Optimist Club have also announced the grand opening of the Multi-Use All-Wheel Park project on Sept. at 1:30 p.m. in conjunction with the community’s Fall Festival celebrations.

“We are so excited to announce the official opening of another amazing amenity in Penhold,” says Yargeau.

This pump track and skate park facility is a collaborative project between the Town of Penhold and the Penhold and District Optimist Club.

“I know my family and I will be spending tons of time at the MAP, honing our skills. I invite you to come on out, regardless of your skill level, to have fun and reconnect with your neighbours,” said Yargeau.
