The Priority Crimes Task Force seized an undisclosed amount of stolen property from a Penhold residence on Saturday.

Police say the “extensive amount” of stolen property is linked to a number of crimes in the Central Alberta region. Police say three men and a youth have been linked to the crimes.

The Penhold residence has been involved in more that 70 complaints to police since July 2014 and that made it a target for the new regional task force.

Red Deer and Innisfail RCMP released the information Wednesday.

The Priority Crimes Task Force was created to tackle crimes across Central Alberta. The force includes members from Innisfail, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake and Red Deer RCMP.

Police plan to release further details at a news conference this afternoon.
