The demolition process continued Thursday to bring down the remains of the Black Knight Inn.

This series of four photos shows a half-hour of demo work, as was witnessed by many Red Deerians who observed from their parked vehicles.

After hollowing out the middle of the former hotel, an excavator worked to nudge loose its exterior walls so they would fall to the ground.

Only the east quarter of the former eight-storey building was left standing at 1 p.m.
