The pilot of a small plane was injured when his plane crashed at the Hanna Airport early Tuesday.
RCMP, Hanna EMS and volunteer firefighters responded to the crash at 1:30 a.m. about 50 metres from the runway in the community about 200 kilometres southeast of Red Deer.
The male pilot and sole occupant of the plane was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was later released.
RCMP, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada and the Department of National Defence investigated.
“It was determined the cause of the crash to be non criminal and the scene was cleared,” said RCMP.
