Police charge Red Deer bank break-in suspect

Police have charged a man with breaking into a Red Deer bank.

Red Deer City RCMP attended a break and enter at the TD Bank at 5001-19th St. on Jan. 13 at 7 a.m.

It was determined the break-in had occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. when the suspect pried open the door separating the ATM from the rest of the bank, setting off the security alarm.

The suspect moved through the bank but was not successful in locating or leaving with any valuables.

Several images of the suspect were captured by video surveillance and released to the public.

Joseph Kine, 30, of Red Deer has been charged with break and enter.

He has been released from custody on conditions and will appear in Red Deer provincial court on Feb. 21.
