Police deal with multiple missing persons

In two unrelated cases on Wednesday, police were seeking missing people who have ties to Central Alberta.

In Red Deer, City RCMP are looking for a 13-year-old girl, Skyler Abernethy. She was last seen on Jan. 30 in the Glendale area.

Abernethy is described as Caucasian, 1.65 metres (five feet, five inches) tall, 47 kg (105 pounds), dyed blond hair, hazel eyes and she has a nose piercing on the right side.

If you have any information on her whereabouts, you are asked to contact Red Deer City RCMP at 403-343-5575.

From Grande Prairie, RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 27-year-old Leah Rae Walker, who was last heard from on Jan. 29.

Walker is believed to have recently moved to Grande Prairie but has lived in the Red Deer area in the past.

Walker is described as Caucasian, 1.70 metres (five feet, seven inches) tall, 59 kg (130 pounds), long black hair (approximately shoulder length without extensions), blue eyes, with a tattoo under the ear and down the side of her neck.
