GRANDE PRAIRIE — Police have cancelled an Amber Alert for a seven-month-old baby girl who was in a pickup truck when it was stolen in northwestern Alberta.
RCMP say baby Addison was found in a car seat on the porch of a rural home south of Grande Prairie.
Cpl. Roy Kennedy says it appears the child is not injured, but she has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
He says officers are still looking for the truck.
The light-brown 2010 Dodge Ram was reported stolen in Grande Prairie around 1 p.m. MST.
Police say the truck was taken from outside a home in the Royal Oaks area.
Kennedy says it appears the driver had left the truck running with the child inside.
