Police looking for central Alberta man, last seen in Red Deer, who drove to Abraham Lake alone and hasn’t returned

Red Deer RCMP are looking for a 39-year-old man.

Police are looking for public assistance to help locate Yuri Butorin who is reported missing after a day trip to Abraham Lake.

He was last seen 12 p.m. in Red Deer Saturday. He drove along to Abraham Lake in Clearwater County and did not return home as expected, police said.

RCMP are concerned for his well-being.

He is described as Caucasian, five-foot-seven, 220 lbs, with grey hair, brown eyes and grey facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a light grey winter jacket, black sweatpants and a black hat.

Butorin was driving a beige/silver 2004 Mitsubishi Delica minivan with licence plate CDK2977. Police believe he is in the Clearwater County area.
