UPDATE: Missing Red Deer mother and children found safe

Red Deer RCMP have been unable to located a missing Red Deer mother and her four children, and are asking for the public’s assistance.

RCMP said on Dec. 5 a concerned school representative reported that the whereabouts of a number of students from a family were unknown under concerning circumstances.

The children were last seen in school earlier on Dec. 5.

Red Deer RCMP conducted an investigation and despite all efforts have been unable to locate Susan Lynn French, 38, and her four children: Charlee French-Frank, 12; Emma French, 9; Ryker French, 3; and Deckard French, 11-months.

The family’s current whereabouts are unknown, and RCMP are concerned for their well-being.

Susan French is described as 1.7 metres (five feet eight inches) tall, weighing 108 kilograms (240 pounds), with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.

Charlee French-Frank, 12, is described as having long brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.

Emma French, 9, is described as having long brown hair, brown eyes, slim build and a light complexion.

Ryker French, 3, is described as having short light brown hair, blue eyes and a light complexion.

Deckard French, 11 months, is described as having longer dark brown hair, hazel eye and a light complexion.

Susan may be driving a white 2014 Nissan Pathfinder with the Alberta license plate CJS 5362.
