Police respond to gun call

Man arrested was found with a replica handgun

Red Deer RCMP arrested a man on Friday after getting gun call.

Police were called to the Glendale area of Red Deer about 6:40 p.m. after getting a call about a man armed with a handgun

Officers blocked off the area and shortly after a suspect was arrested without further incident.

The man was found in possession of a replica handgun.

Charges are pending.
