LAVOY — Mounties say a Newfoundland man was the victim in a fatal accident east of Edmonton.

Police say David Dominie, 35, had been living in Fort McMurray.

He died when the Ford F350 pickup truck he was driving went out of control Wednesday and rolled on Highway 16, about two kilometres east of Lavoy.

He was the only person in the vehicle.
