Red Deer RCMP are looking for a man who stole a small safe from a north Red Deer restaurant on March 13.

A surveillance video caught an image of the man who had a meal at Brad’s Pit Smokehouse before forcing his way into a locked office. The suspect left with cash from an employee’s purse and a small safe that contained an undisclosed amount of money. The incident happened about 7 p.m.

The man is described as Caucasian, about 28 years old, and about 1.7 metres tall (five feet seven inches). He has tattoos on both arms and was driving a small tan SUV.
