Police searching for teen couple who may have ran away together

Police are asking for public assistance in locating a missing Red Deer teen who is believed to have ran away with her 17-year-old boyfriend.

Police are asking for public assistance in locating a missing Red Deer teen who is believed to have ran away with her 17-year-old boyfriend.

At about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, 15-year-old Ashleigh Tyndall left her home in Lancaster to go to school, but did not arrive.

Police say that at about 7:15 a.m. the same morning, 17-year-old Michael McBride left his home in Sylvan Lake bound for Red Deer.

He was picked up by an unknown person driving an unknown vehicle.

It is believed Tyndall and McBride are together. Neither teen has been in contact with their families since leaving their homes Wednesday morning.

Tyndall was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, black and pink running shoes and was carrying a black backpack.
