Rocky Mountain House RCMP have charged 62-year-old James Robert Werner with several firearms-related offences and trafficking.
An investigation was launched by the Rocky Mountain House General Investigation Section (GIS), with the assistance of the Red Deer ALERT in January. Evidence was gathered which ultimately led to the grounds to obtain a search warrant, which was executed on March 11.
Four people in the residence were arrested and three were released with no charges. Police seized a handgun and fentanyl at the scene.
Werner will appear in court on March 18.
