A man who rang a few too many doorbells is now facing several charges.
On Jan. 28, Ponoka RCMP responded to complaints from a number of homeowners along 46th Street regarding a man who was ringing doorbells.
Police located a man standing by a vehicle in a nearby ditch. He matched the description provided by many of the residents.
Police determined the man was intoxicated and did not have a driver’s licence. The vehicle was towed and the man was charged with numerous offences.
Charges include impaired operation of a vehicle, impaired by alcohol over 0.08, operation of an uninsured vehicle, operating a vehicle without a valid licence and failure to produce valid insurance.
