An investigation by Ponoka RCMP into street-level drug activities has resulted in charges.

Jonathan Harry Bertram Higgs, 31, is facing two charges of trafficking cocaine.

The RCMP had not been able to locate Higgs and an arrest warrant was been issued.

“The RCMP can confirm that Jonathan Higgs turned himself in to the RCMP earlier today. He is no longer wanted on an arrest warrant,” police said late Monday afternoon.
