Ponoka RCMP investigated street-level drug activities within and around the community from October to December.
Thursday, the RCMP arrested two adults.
John James St. Jean, 50, is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
Michelle Dawn Janzen, 31, is charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
She is also facing a charge of trafficking in property obtained by crime.
Both the accused have been released from custody and will appear in Ponoka provincial court on Jan. 10.
