Pool players from across Western Canada attended the first annual Red Deer BCAPL Canadian Open Series pool tournament at the Westerner’s Parkland Pavilion recently. The five-day tournament featured singles and team competition in the eight-ball category and singles only in the nine-ball category. There were 84 singles competitors and 30 teams competing for cash prizes. Here, Garry Hauck of Edmonton, seen here lining up for his next shot, was one of the winners.
