Some areas in downtown Red Deer is currently experiencing a power outage.
This power outage affects businesses between the 48 Avenue to 49 Avenue and 48 Street to 49 Street area.
The city expect power to be restored in about eight hours. Some businesses may experience an outage up to 12 hours while a transformer is replaced.
Motorists should expect traffic delays, and are reminded that intersections with a traffic light out are to be treated as a four-way stop.
