Harrison Christianson of Team Snubbing Services washes the company’s pink snubbing truck in Red Deer this week. The odd colour for an oilfield truck turns heads wherever it goes. The truck was painted pink last year to raise money and awareness about breast cancer. A total of 2.5 per cent of the truck’s work ticket income is donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society. In a year, the pink truck has raised $18,000 for breast cancer research. The company plans to work the unit and travel across Canada to raise awareness and funds. Team Snubbing Services is challenging other oil companies to make or match donations in the battle against breast cancer.
