Property inspections are underway in Red Deer.
Residents may notice city staff in their neighbourhoods over the coming months, the city noted in a media release on Thursday.
“The city’s assessment office collects and maintains descriptive information about properties, including photographs of residential and non-residential properties, which assist with the completion of annual property assessments,” the media release stated.
Currently, the photo inventory collection for the neighbourhoods of Anders, Deer Park, Garden Heights, Highland Green, Inglewood, Morrisroe, Mountview, Timber Ridge and Timberlands is being updated.
“This process involves taking exterior photographs of the front of properties from the road or sidewalk, during regular business hours. Staff do not require access to private property to complete this work, which is expected to wrap up by November.”
Residents can identify city staff by their reflective vest and photo identification, which they are required to carry when working in the community.
