The Town of Blackfalds is looking for public input to plan for the town’s seniors’ housing needs.
The town has partnered with Lacombe Foundation and the Bethany Group to pursue the Blackfalds Seniors’ Housing Project.
To ensure the project meets the required needs, the public is invited to a discussion on March 28 between 6 and 8 p.m. at Blackfalds Community Centre at 4810 Womacks Rd.
Plans for the Seniors Housing Project are as follows:
Community consultation is scheduled between March and June
Preliminary design timeline is set from April and August
Design completion will be between August and January
The timeline for construction will then be determined based on building type and financing model selected.
