Red Deer’s Public Market opens another season on Saturday.
The Public Market runs every Saturday until the Thanksgiving long weekend from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The market is located at the Memorial Centre parking lot (4214 58 Street) due to the construction of the new Servus Arena.
Market-goers can get there by transit (Route 5), by walking or cycling on the connecting trail system or by driving.
For cyclists, there is a bike lock-up available on site for safe storage. For drivers, parking is available at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School, Camille J. Lerouge School and at Gateway Christian School parking lots.
