Highway 2 north was closed Tuesday afternoon due to a semi-tractor trailer that was jackknifed.
511 Alberta said drivers should expect “major delays” and a detour has been set up on Highway 53 into Ponoka.
Earlier Tuesday, another semi was jackknifed on Highway 2 between Lacombe and Ponoka and it blocked the middle and right-hand lanes. It was cleared around 10:23 a.m.
