The persistent rainstorms has led the City of Red Deer to close ball diamonds and sports fields.
The city announced on Thursday that Great Chief Park ball diamonds, community ball diamonds, and city-run sports fields are closed for the day due to wet conditions.
All scheduled activities for these amenities have been cancelled.
Setters Place field remains open for scheduled bookings.
The city says it is trying to contact all of the affected teams and groups to let them know.
