The pony chuckwagons and fireworks have been cancelled for Friday night at Westerner Days.
“The safety of both the riders and the animals is of utmost importance to both organizations,” said Westerner Park on behalf of itself and the Alberta Professional Chuckwagon and Chariot Association.
It added that the fireworks have also been postponed to Saturday night due to weather conditions.
