Rene Blewett of Johnson Controls readies the United Way’s flag before a ceremony to start Red Deer College’s fundraising campaign this week. The college hopes its staff, workers and students will contribute $30,000 towards the Central Alberta effort to raise $2.1 million in the community appeal’s 44th annual campaign, which serves 33 agencies.
