RCMP arrest Didsbury man who was wanted on 42 charges

Police have arrested a 52-year-old Didsbury man, who was wanted on 42 outstanding criminal charges.

Police have arrested a 52-year-old Didsbury man, who was wanted on 42 outstanding criminal charges.

The RMCP Southern Alberta Emergency Response Team arrested him Wednesday, with assistance from the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit and Coronation RCMP.

In a press release issued Friday, RCMP claimed the man had been “actively evading police.”

Some of the charges the accused is facing include possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

He was remanded into custody and will appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on Monday.
