A suspect in a shooting on the Louis Bull First Nation has been arrested.

RCMP said shots were fired into a residence on the First Nation near Maskwacis in the early morning hours of Jan. 26.

Several people, including children, were inside the home at the time, but they escaped injury.

Two suspects were identified and charged.

Travis Roasting, 19, of Maskwacis, had been evading police, but has now been arrested.
