Red Deerians might see a little more police activity than they’re used to on Tuesday.

Red Deer RCMP said in a release Tuesday morning that they will be conducting a series of training exercises in Vanier, Inglewood and Laredo neighbourhoods.

Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services will be in the areas and will be training on public and private property. Property owners have been notified and police have permission to utilize those spaces.

“The police officers will be appropriately identified, and will be training on both public and private property. Owners have been notified and permission has been obtained to utilize these spaces,” the release reads.

Red Deer RCMP ask members of the public to please give officers space as they conduct their training, and to note there is no need to contact the detachment or call 911.
