RCMP continue to investigate the homicide of an 18-year-old Maskwacis man and are asking for any information the public may have.

RCMP continue to investigate the homicide of an 18-year-old Maskwacis man and are asking for any information the public may have.

Shortly before 2 a.m. on March 27, Maskwacis RCMP members responded to a report of three men having been hurt at a disturbance that took place at a residence in the Samson Cree Nation townsite.

Police quickly located the three injured men, however, one of them succumbed to his injuries. He was identified as Lynden Thom. An autopsy determined his death to be homicide.

Anyone who believes that they may have information that would assist investigators is asked to call the Maskwacis RCMP Detachment at 780-585-3767.
