The RCMP have left an incident at 58th Street and 58th Avenue.
A device was examined and determined not to be an explosive.
Residents are able to access the apartment building once again.
Earlier, police responded to a complaint of a found firearm at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, and while on the scene, located an unknown device.
To ensure public safety, the RCMP secured and contained the immediate area. The explosives disposal unit out of Edmonton was deployed.
