RCMP investigate armed robbery at Sunchild store

Police seek public’s assistance

Two robbers with a possible firearm made off with an undisclosed amount of money from a store on Sunchild First Nation on Jan. 29.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP said at about 10 p.m., two males entered the store in disguise, brandishing what was believed to be a firearm, and demanded money.

No one was injured during the robbery.

RCMP made patrols in the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspect with the firearm wore a blue hoodie, red toque, black bandana, black pants, and black and white shoes.

The other suspect wore a black hoodie, and a black and green ball cap.
