RCMP investigators are probing the sudden death of a 44-year-old man on the O’Chiese Reserve, north of Rocky Mountain House early on Wednesday.

RCMP investigators are probing the sudden death of a 44-year-old man on the O’Chiese Reserve, north of Rocky Mountain House early on Wednesday.

Ronald Jack Mitchell was found dead in a home by police responding to a complaint.

Police are awaiting an autopsy to determine the cause of death, says a news release from RCMP Southern Alberta spokesman Cpl. Darrin Turnbull.

The RCMP’s major crimes unit and forensic identification section have been called in to help with the investigation.

No further information will be released at this time, says Turnbull.
