Part of downtown Red Deer was closed to traffic due to a suspicious package Thursday afternoon.
Red Deer RCMP investigated the report in the 5246 53th Avenue area, the city tweeted.
Both Red Deer Emergency Services and RCMP were on scene near the Safe Harbour Society.
Red Deer’s 53rd Avenue was open to public around 8 p.m. Thursday.
RCMP continue to investigate.
