The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating a murder on the O’Chiese First Nation.
Rocky Mountain House RCMP were dispatched to assist EMS with a report of an unconscious male at about 5 a.m. this past Friday. He was declared dead at the scene.
An autopsy was conducted at the Calgary Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Sunday and the death has been deemed a homicide.
The investigation continues and RCMP anticipate an update will be provided when further details can be released.
