RCMP is investigating a homicide on the O’Chiese First Nation

A 41-year-old man was discovered dead in a residence

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide on the O’Chiese First Nation, west of Rocky.

On Friday, Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to a 911 call about a male in medical distress. RCMP and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the residence and discovered a deceased man.

The death was deemed suspicious and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit was deployed.

The 41-year-old’s death is now being treated as a homicide by RCMP Major Crimes Unit, which remains on scene at the residence, actively investigating this case.

Anyone with information is asked to call Rocky Mountain House RCMP at 403-845-2881.
