RCMP looking for suspect after shots fired at Sunchild First Nation home

Three people inside the home were uninjured in incident last Friday morning

Police are searching for a man suspected of shooting at a residence on the Sunchild First Nation.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP said they were called at about 8:30 a.m. last Friday after shots were fired at a residence on the reserve northwest of the town.

Three occupants inside the home escaped injury.

A warrant has been issued for 22-year-old Tristan Crookedlegs-King, who faces a number of charges.

Crookedlegs-King is also wanted on other warrants for failing to comply with court orders, possession of methamphetamine and flight from a peace officer.

The suspect is described as a First Nations man, about five foot 10 and weighing about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and short, black hair.
