Red Deer Public Library and Red Deer RCMP have teamed up to promote literacy.

RCMP officers will be at upcoming special storytime programs at the downtown library branch on Feb. 28, March 2 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. They will be reading to children ages three and up.

They will also read at the Toddler Fun program on March 7, from 11 to 11:30 a.m., for ages 18 months to three years.

Families can meet local RCMP members and hear them read children’s books in a fun, informal setting.

Parent supervision is required at the above programs.
