Red Deer RCMP is asking for help identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly before 4 p.m., police responded to a call of an armed robbery at a BMO branch on 50th Avenue in downtown Red Deer. The suspect threatened staff and obtained cash before fleeing on foot.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, about five foot seven and 50 to 65 years old. He was wearing a black jacket, jeans and sunglasses.
