Red Deer RCMP are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who stole a men’s necklace and ring valued at more than $3,500 from People’s Jewelers in Bower Place shopping centre on March 3.

Red Deer RCMP are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who stole a men’s necklace and ring valued at more than $3,500 from People’s Jewelers in Bower Place shopping centre on March 3.

Police say a man was browsing at the store when he asked to view a men’s gold chain and a men’s diamond ring shortly before 8 p.m.

The man grabbed the two items from the clerk and ran from the store.

The necklace is described as a two-tone men’s chain. The ring is a yellow gold men’s ring with diamonds.

The suspect is described as being between 28 and 30 years old, 1.68 metres tall (five-foot-six), dark brown hair and a slim build.
