RCMP trying to locate missing aboriginal girls

Red Deer RCMP are trying to locate two teenage aboriginal girls who have been missing for more than one week.

Diamond Saddleback, 15, and Danielle Lefthand, 16, were last seen leaving their residence at about 6 p.m. on Oct. 7.

RCMP have come up empty despite checks with relatives and visits to other places they are known to frequent.

Saddleback is described as 1.68 metres (five feet, six inches) tall; 54 kg (120 pounds); with brown eyes, and black hair. She has a scar on her right cheek and has nose and lip piercing. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, jeans and white sneakers.

Lefthand is described as been 1.68 metres (five feet, six inches) tall; 68 kg; with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing sweatpants and a hoodie.
