Red Deer College is launching an online course designed to help businesses navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
In conjunction with NOVA Chemicals, Red Deer County, and the City of Red Deer, the interactive, credentialed course will be available to companies by subscription in an effort to help them operate and adapt during the pandemic.
“COVID-19 has created challenges for all of us across the province and globe, but the circumstances have also fostered a stronger sense of community, bringing many industries and people together,” said Dr. Peter Nunoda, RDC president.
“As we work with our industry and government partners to safely ignite the economy in our province, we are confident in the value that Strategic Success for Businesses during COVID-19 offers Alberta and central Alberta businesses and their employees.”
The self-directed online course, titled Strategic Success for Businesses during COVID-19, can be purchased for a fee and can be completed in less than an hour. It is also designed in accordance with Alberta Health Services protocols.
“Supporting the central Alberta recovery efforts is a priority and we are pleased to support the development of the Red Deer College COVID-19 training, both financially and through subject matter expertise on protocols to support safe operations,” said Mark Hodson, NOVA Chemicals Joffre site leader.
